The Clinical Nephrology Update is an annual scientific event since 2011 with the aim to update doctors and renal nurses with the recent advances in nephrology. It is organized by the Hong Kong Nephrology Group and the Hong Kong Baptist Hospital
Clinical Nephrology Update 2015
There will be 2 Monday evening meetings on 12 October 2015 and 19 October 2015 in D9 of the Hong Kong Baptist Hospital. Registration fee is free for members of the Hong Kong Nephrology Group, students of the Professional Diploma in Renal Nursing and the visiting doctors of the Hospital.
This year the theme is diabetic nephropathy, hypertensive renal diseases and automatic peritoneal dialysis. There is also a session on heavy metal poisoning which is timely in view of the lead tainted water. The lectures will be given by the doctors from the Hong Kong Baptist Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and members of the Hong Kong Nephrology Group.
We have recently published a book ‘Save your kidneys – a complete guide’ in Chinese and we take this opportunity to make the book launch.

Clinical Nephrology Update 2014
The Clinical Nephrology Update 2014 Course, co-organized by Hong Kong Baptist Hospital and the Hong Kong Nephrology Group will be held in the Hong Kong Baptist Hospital in October 2014. This course is to update clinicians and renal nurses on the most recent advances in nephrology. The course will be held on 3 consecutive Monday evenings, each with 2 lectures, followed by Q&A sessions.
Clinical Nephrology Update 2013
This course is organised by the Hong Kong Nephrology Group, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Hong Kong Medical Association. It was completed on 19 September 2013 and most of the lecture videos are uploaded to this site.
