Clinical Renal Nutrition Workshop
Nutrition is very important to kidney failure patients. For this reason, the Group organized a workshop for renal nurses. The participants were trained in the Subjective Global Assessment in nutritional evaluation.
Clinical Nephrology Update 2015
The Clinical Nephrology Update is an annual seminar with the aim to update doctors and renal nurses with the recent advances in nephrology. This year it is organized by the Hong Kong Baptist Hospital and the Hong Kong Nephrology Group. The lectures will be given by the doctors from the Hong Kong Baptist Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital and members of the Hong Kong Nephrology Group.
This year the theme is diabetic nephropathy, hypertensive renal diseases and automatic peritoneal dialysis. There is also a session on heavy metal poisoning which is timely in view of the lead tainted water.
Clinical Nephrology Update 2014
The Clinical Nephrology Update 2014 Course, co-organized by Hong Kong Baptist Hospital and the Hong Kong Nephrology Group will be held in the Hong Kong Baptist Hospital in October 2014. This course is to update clinicians and renal nurses on the most recent advances in nephrology. The course will be held on 3 consecutive Monday evenings, each with 2 lectures, followed by Q&A sessions.
Clinical Nephrology Update 2013
This course is organised by the Hong Kong Nephrology Group, the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and the Hong Kong Medical Association. It was completed on 19 September 2013 and most of the lecture videos are uploaded to this site.
